New York has a great diversity of theatrical spaces. But at the same time, performances don’t only exist inside of the buildings. The street is also a space for all kinds of live performance, and it is definitely what makes the city alive. Everyday Theater Day is a proposal for activating streetscape with performance stages. Identifying the essence of street performance and making space not only for the performers but also for the residents, it is a platform that puts ordinary life onto the stage.
