Stuyvesant Town-Peter Cooper Village is a large, post World War II residential town. The apartment is formed in an uncooperative way to the public and site. Therefore, connecting the project with this apartment building will make a strong relationship between the impact of the metro station entrance and inhabitants.

By lifting the metro station programs, which were placed horizontally until they reach the height of the ground level and that of Stuyvesant Town, the project will be a new inhabitant facade of Stuyvesant Town.

Programs of “facade” are for the public purpose. By connecting vertically through ramps and stair pathways, inhabitants and pedestrians will walk the facade of Stuyvesant Town. Inserting vertical green space and observatory platforms for people will make a strong relationship between apartment building, metro station, and the city.
